I have another blog, and I have been re-porting my entries here. There is a HUGE part of me that is reticent to make a commitment to my business. When it comes to purchasing supplies, or promotional items, or paying membership fees, a little voice pipes up: "What if the business doesn't succeed? This will be money wasted." This morning, after the laundromat and our french toast breakfast, I logged onto my laptop and found an email from my step-mother. In it, she mentioned that my sister and her boyfriend were coming to town to see Rhen. This gave me the push I needed to complete her Christmas present. As is to be expected, Rhen's arrival has modified my plans for this week. So, last night, instead of re-working a few pieces and making a few pieces, as I had intended. I visited with Rhen and took pictures of Rhen and uploaded those pictures and pretty much had a Rhen-centric night. Tonight, I am going to visit her again. erin hiscocks new addition to the family

I just got a call from Boo-boo. She had a daughter and named her Renata Jane. I did not ask what time the baby was born at or how much she weighed. Boo-boo sounded chipper and relaxed, and I know her intent was to come home as soon as possible after the birth. She's going to be checked out by her mid-wife and if she gets the all clear she'll be home this afternoon.
